for corporates
Certified B Corporations (B Corps) are businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B Corps are leaders of a global movement of people using business as a force for good.
The B Lab Impact Assessment measures a company’s sustainability and impact performance against the categories of governance, workers, customers, community and environment.
The B Corp movement is over 5000 companies strong and works toward reduced inequality, lower levels of poverty, a healthier environment, stronger communities, and the creation of high-quality jobs with dignity and purpose.
Becoming a B Corp is a highly rigorous process. Companies must document their positive impact and re-certify every three years to maintain their Certification.

What It Takes
Performance
B Corps measure their positive social and environmental impact using the B Impact Assessment. Once they receive a score of 80 or more points, their assessment is verified by our independent analysts. To retain their certification, B Corps must resubmit an assessment every three years.
Transparency
Once certified, a B Corp score appears on the global directory. The profile contains a breakdown of their score and any necessary disclosures for the public.
Accountability
To become a B Corp, businesses must embed stakeholder governance into their company’s constitution. This holds directors accountable for making decisions that consider the long-term impacts on communities, employees, and the environment.
